Basically this is just stuff about the site itself and how I made it!

I've wanted a little thing to blog on and display my art in for the longest time, so I went ahead and made it. I tried to keep it as light-weight and simple as I could, partially because that's just how I like it and partially because it matches the vibe I get from other neocities sites.

Hosted on: Neocities

I picked Neocities simply because their terms are good and I don't need anything fancy, it looks pretty stable around here (at least at time of writing) and I do love browsing all the other sites on here.

Framework: Jekyll

Nice static site generator that gave me all the tools I needed to get off the ground. Maybe in the future I'll run into the limitations of the format and switch to something else, but I'm quite happy with it now.

Layout: NeoThemes

I was a little averse originally to using someone else's site layout, but after almost a year of cobbling mine together on and off, I wanted to just finally do my thing and frankly this works much better than what I was doing. If I get the html learning fever again I might well overhaul it, but this is nice.

This super nice cloud background comes from a big ol tumblr post I found, I don't know if this person owns all the images but it's a great collection.
